This week’s GameSpy Debriefings starts things off by revisiting Tatsunoko vs Capcom, since Ryan wrote his review. He gave the game a three and a half out of five, stating that he did have fun with the game but unlockable characters and poor netcode soured a little bit of the experience.
Mass Effect 2 comes up and Gerald makes the argument that you should definitely play the first game before picking up the sequel. Anthony and Brian share their encounters with a lot of technical issues while playing Mass Effect, but Gerald maintains that it’s worth pushing through to feel the unparalleled continuity between the two games.
Anthony has been playing MAG and shares some of the leveling and ability unlocking mechanics, ultimately saying that he enjoyed the game. The big question is whether or not the game will hold up amidst the current competitor of Modern Warfare 2 and the future competitor of Bad Company 2.
Covered games and topics: Tatsunoko vs Capcom, World of Warcraft, unlockable characters in games, Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect, MAG, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Way of the Samurai 3
This week’s cast is short one Brian, but bolstered by Gerald Villoria. Join us as we discuss MAG, a small amount of Mass Effect 2, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for Wii, and a series of other random topics. Enjoy!
