Greg Ford is elsewhere and Greg Sewart is losing his voice to illness so it’s a quieter show this week. Following on from Phil playing it last week Greg tried out the Lunar demo on PSP, he echoes Phil’s thoughts about it. Greg also continues to make his way through the first Assassins Creed, he is benefiting from playing through the game at a slower pace, avoiding the annoyance of the repetitive nature of the game.
GTA: Chinatown Wars just got ported to the iPhone and CJ decided to try it out, he thinks it is a pretty good port and is having some fun with it. Phil continues to play through Bayonetta, the guys wonder what his wife Dana thinks about it, she wasn’t sure at first but now finds it funny in its ridiculousness. Both Phil and CJ have been playing an iPhone game made by a listener, Tumbledrop, they both really like the rewarding nature of the game that involves giving medals for playing a certain way.
After some tweets and voicemails the guys take a cue from the Bombcast as Phil “uncans” a Mega Man E-Tank energy drink.
Covered games and topics: Lunar, Assassins Creed, The Sabteur, GTA: Chinatown Wars, Bayonetta, Tumbledrop, Hook Champ, Tweets, voicemails
This week! One sick Canadian and two reasonably healthy Americans discuss the game tapes they played this week. That includes The Saboteur, Dark Void Zero, Bayonetta, Assassin’s Creed, Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars, Hook Champ and Tumbledrop. And you won’t want to miss a live uncanning (or should that be de-canning?) of the US version of the Mega Man E-Tank drink! All that plus tweets, emails and voicemails.
