It’s a Dark Void extravaganza this week– and not in a good way. Capcom’s latest starts the podcast, but things quickly move onto Mass Effect 2, with much more positive commentary. Justin is playing it for review, but he can’t say much about it due to embargoes. Chris brings up the “potential” Apple tablet announcement that is set for the 27th, since rumors of EA being courted and the gaming press has been invited, but Justin is disinterested and refuses to spend more then $1000 on anything. We will see if he has to or not on Wednesday.
News that the PS motion controller has been delayed spurs some discussion, but the group seems less than excited about the forthcoming gesture-based peripherals. Mass Effect 2′s Cerberus Network strikes the right cord here with the crew feeling like it is a good way to deal with new versus used purchases. A plethora of voicemails and emails close-out the main show.
We get an aftershow this week that is filled with spoiler-filled Dark Void talk. Justin wants it to be called spoiled rotten and get sick of the segment quickly. Dark Void seems to have let everyone down.
