Matt Chandronait of Area 5 joins the usual crew this week, after his recent playthrough of Fallout 3 Anthony decided to pick Oblivion again. This leads into some discussion about the potential that Bethesda are making an MMO, a thought that scares Arthur considering how buggy their singleplayer RPGs are.
The theme with this weeks what have you been playing segment seems to be a brief game discussion leading to a broader discussion of the genre. This continues when Matt talks about his experience with Star Trek: Online, this leads into the guys debating the future of MMOs. With Cataclysm coming this year and The Old Republic next year there are some pretty interesting and varied approaches to look forward to. Darksiders gets more praise, this time from Matt who hasn’t played much himself but has seen most of the game being played.
Twitter topics starts off with a question about people disdain for the use of Dante’s Inferno to make a game. Arthur suggests the advertising approach may have alot to do with it as he makes the comparison to God of Wars use of Greek mythology, which people don’t seem to have a problem with.
