After a couple of quick detours to mock Brad and chug some bad Japanese drinks, Vinny discusses finally finishing up Halo 3: ODST. He’s also been playing a lot of Darksiders which launches a hilarious renaming conversation for the game. Jeff talks about all of the ups and down he has been having with Capcom’s new release Dark Void. He says that although they set up some good fiction, there are some glaring technical issues that keep the game from being better. They also touch on a bit of a controversial topic in the Giant Bomb office with Kane and Lynch 2. Brad and Ryan have been playing some Star Trek Online and are mixed in their opinions.
New system features start off the news section with the rumored Sony online premium content and the announcement of Netflix on the Wii. Like many other podcasts, the Bombcast crew then goes off on their tangent about 3D and progressing technology in television/gaming. Staying on the popular topics, talk of Splinter Cell: Conviction delays leave the guys questioning why a game of that pedigree would need to be pushed back once again. New releases and emails close out the show.
Covered games and topics: Dark Void, Darksiders, Halo 3: ODST, Fallout 3, motion sickness, Star Trek, Netflix, Sony online, Splinter cell
