Matt Chandronait and Ryan O’Donnell of Area 5 join the regular crew this week, the bigger cast means that alot of games are covered in the first segment. The guys have a surprisingly lengthy and interesting discussion of Steel Battalion which Ryan and Matt have been playing. They hope a game like this could be released at a more affordable price perhaps using something like Project Natal.

Ryan and Matt especially have been playing alot of indie games on Xbox Live and independent games on PC.  Ryan has been enjoying Spelunky, which will be coming to XBLA, despite it’s hardcore nature (death means you restart the game) he has been really taken with the rewarding nature of the game.

A recent comment on Twitter by former host Nick Suttner kicks off the twitter topic segment of the show. Ryan loves anything that can immerse him in games as much as possible so he is at the fore in a discussion about 3D gaming. Reader mail rounds out the show as usual.
