The GameSpy Debriefings are back from their holiday break and things are back to normal. The podcast kicks off with discussion of potential names for Gerald’s twins, naturally covering which video game character names could be given to children without being completely abusive.
Anthony has been playing Darksiders and gives positive impressions very reminiscent of his thoughts in the latest Rebel FM. He goes on into a little bit more detail about the story, which seems to be paper-thin and a little bit silly. Regardless of the writing, the gameplay mechanics are solid enough to have Anthony pretty excited about the game and its heavily implied sequel.
Miggles briefly brings up Assassin’s Creed 2, which leads into some general discussion of the save system of the Xbox 360. Everyone is well aware of the ability to migrate accounts from console to console, but they all seem to bemoan the lack of a Steam Cloud-like service that allows saves to persist online. They seem to forget the existence of the 360 memory units, which you can associate with an Xbox Live account and use to hold a handful of game saves.
It’s a shorter podcast because Anthony’s still sick, but he, Gerald Villoria, Brian Miggels, Brian Altano and Ryan Scott still find a bit of time to bring you another random podcast. Starting with potential names for Gerald’s upcoming twins, it quickly moves into videogame character names, before it ultimately transitions into the gang talking about the games they played over the break. They close out with your letters. Enjoy!
