It’s another shorter cast this week with not quite 4 guys. David and Matt Leone are joined by G4′s Patrick Klepek to discuss CES 2010. The announcement of Xbox Live Game Room peeked some interest here, but the pricing doesn’t seem right to the guys. There are also rumors flying around about Project Natal’s loss of an on-board processor and the implication this will have for developers.
Lost Planet 2 continues to look like “Monster Hunter with guns,” and Matt is excited about another 8-bit Mega Man in Mega Man 10. Super Street Fighter 4 and Split Second ramp up the discussion about early 2010 games which ends with David’s worry about the direction Splinter Cell Conviction seems to be going.
3D has been the talk of CES and that is no different here with Patrick speaking vehemently against this kind of “gimmicky” technology. A few observations and stories about Las Vegas finish the show.

Podcast Beyond had a really great discussion on 3D in gaming in this week and how it's just not necessary. Even if you don't normally listen to Podcast Beyond, I recommend listening in because it's one of their finest discussions, and certainly the best chat about 3D I've heard on any podcast.
