With all the travelling for the holidays it’s a slightly different Player One Podcast this week. The show is “live” which in this case means all the participants are in the same room, which it should be noted is a restaurant so be prepared for background noise. Both Gregs are absent but in their place are CJ’s fiancé Adrienne and Phil’s wife Dana.
The show starts off as always with listener tweets, alot of the questions are aimed at our host’s partners this week. There’s alot of interesting discussion about how gaming features in both couples relationships during the segment.
As you’d expect the what you been playing segment is taken up almost exclusively by portable games. CJ has been getting some use of his PSP go with Gradius and Half Minute Hero, both of which he is liking. Phil has been trying a bunch of iPhone games, although the controls in Pac-Man CE have put him off he has found he is enjoying the virtual d-pad in The Simpsons Arcade Game.
