There is not much going on this week with many of the major podcasts taking a break for the holidays. We take this opportunity to discuss what we have been playing.
I purchased Red Faction: Guerilla for $10 over Steam while it was on sale a few days ago, but the Games for Windows Live integration completely ruined the experience. After my rant, we move on into a lengthy discussion about Steam and the prospects of Valve being purchased in the future.
Jon is a new PS3 owner and he is experiencing Uncharted and Infamous for the 1st time. Infamous sparks a debate about its merits when compared to Prototype and Assassin’s Creed 2. Jon prefers the mechanics of Assassin’s Creed 2, while Erik and I air our frustrations with the controls.
A little movie talk rounds-out the cast. Be sure to catch Jon on this week’s Pixel Revolt podcast.
Covered topics and games: Red Faction: Guerrilla & GFWL, Steam, Uncharted, Infamous, Assassin’s Creed 2, Sherlock Holmes

Try Demon's Souls it's so damn hard but fun!
Yeah, I'm eager to try it out, I guess I'm just waiting for the inevitable next price drop. Atlus games typically don't take long to drop to the $40 mark, which I'd be a little more comfortable paying for it.
