This week, Nick Ahrens, Ben Reeves, and Joe Juba take a special look at Dead Space 2 which was featured on the most recent cover of the Game Informer Magazine. They state up front that the majority of the show will be answering user questions about the game. It really looks like these guys are trying to get all they can out of any exclusive information they may have gotten.
To start off the show, the trio discuss the new types of enemies they saw during their visit with the game and confirm that there will be a greater variety of enemies than were in the previous Dead Space. They follow this up by talking about Issac’s new role in this game and describe him as the John McClane of his world now. Another question about zero gravity segments is mostly passed over as the GI guys say the developers were fairly tight-lipped about much of it.
A couple of questions from users lead to a discussion on the new environment being much more open than the last, taking place in a large city rather than a cramped space ship. The group seems to getting rather redundant with some of their answers towards the end before getting into the information they have about multiplayer.
