At the top of the show, the Gamers with Jobs tackle the demos of Dante’s Inferno and Bayonetta, with the glaring consensus being that the former is nearly blasphemous and the latter is completely misogynistic.  The crew wonders if these problems are just a shameless practice of “playing to the base”, but Shawn thinks that the hardcore crowd is actually increasingly defensive or prudish of such basal portrayals.

The main topic for this week is arrogance and trolling in forums.  Since Shawn is a moderator on the GWJ forums, it seems like this particular conversation is trying to make sense of the recent slew of bans in their own community.  In this way, some of the points brought up don’t tread unfamiliar ground, but they do bring some clarity to people who might not even mean to be so inflammatory.

Emails wrap up the show, covering topics including Final Fantasy-like RPGs and old genres worth reviving.
