Brad is back this week so the Bombcast crew is back to full strength. After a quick tale of Jeff’s weekend hijinks, Vinny discusses his ongoing gameplay saga with Dragon Age: Origins which has been sucking up much of his time. Jeff spent most of his weekend playing PixelJunk Shooter for review, which he has a few gripes about but feels overall it is a fun experience.
While he was out, Brad was given the task of reviewing the new Avatar game which then leads into a lengthy discussion of the probable quality or lack thereof in the upcoming James Cameron movie. He also goes into his experiences with Silent Hill: Shattered Memories which seem to go along with the promotion of a vastly varied experience depending on your actions. Much of Ryan’s time has been taken up by finally playing Red Faction: Guerrilla for game of the year considerations. He’s also been loving his preview build of Heavy Rain and gets into what he can for now.
A long conversation about the Spike VGA trailer reveals starts off news with a lot of excitement among the crew sprinkled with a few questions. Everyone seems a little down on the recently announcement of Green Day: Rock Band and wonder how they will justify the package. Sparse new releases and emails round out the show.

Not enough was made of Jeff's hijinks. I learned more from his six or seven Twitter posts. Here's hoping they have another two or three hour Game of the Year 'cast.
