The full trio is back this week and start off the show by announcing that they will be doing their annual live Christmas show on Friday the 18th on uStream. John then goes into his Twitter battle with Gamers With Jobs’ Shawn Andrich which caused him to disappear for a week. From there they move in to Drunk Dials and emails for the week.
Reviews start off with Dragon’s Lair for the iPhone, which the guys agree looks fantastic but does have a few issues with control. PixelJunk Shooter receives heaps of praise from all 3 guys after not really caring for PixelJunk Eden. Next up is the import shooter Mushihimesama Futari 1.5 which have the guys foaming at the mouth although it has tended to be a little too hardcore for most gamers. Last for the regular reviews is Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and John says the game is much better than Phantom Hourglass.
The Random Retro Review for the weeks is Alien Invaders Plus for the Odyssey II and Hilden explains that it is almost exacting like Space Invaders but that your shields are indestructible. No Feature Presentation this week but 5 Things closes out the show with talks of the return of SunSoft and Mega Man 10.
Covered Games and Topics: Drunk Dials, Dragon’s Lair, PixelJunk Shooter, Mushihimesama Futari, trains, Zelda, Odyssey 2.
