Game Scoop! Podcast, Episode 145

by Jonathan Downin in GamesDecember 11th, 2009 @ 7:14 pm

Game Scoop! The November NPDs are at the front this week and there is nothing too shocking. The games industry is down over last year, but the guys point-out that other sectors in the entertainment market are down as well. It is notable that Tony Hawk Ride sold over 100k units despite the horrible reviews though.

Dead Space 2 has been confirmed to have multiplayer, but Daemon has a difficult time getting anyone excited about the news. Borderlands 2nd DLC pack has been announced, and Greg has been having some trouble getting PSP minis working on his PS3 with the new 3.15 firmware.

We get a double dose of Knockin’ Boots this week, but neither are too exciting. The guys mention the new IGN re-design (which is pretty sleek and snappy), and the show closes on emails.

Covered games and topics: NPDs, Tony Hawk Ride, Dead Space 2, Borderlands DLC, PS3 mini problem, Mega Man 10, Knockin’ Boots, new design, emails
