Greg Ford doesn’t stick around for long this week, but before he leaves, Greg Sewart wants to finally discuss the finer points of Modern Warfare 2′s story. Neither think the story is great, but agree that it has some excellent set-pieces, they are also both enjoying the spec ops exclusive levels. With Ford gone the rest of the gang move onto tweets and voicemails, a good range of topics this week, from the new Medal of Honor reboot to the recent EGM announcements.
As the show moves into the second segment CJ is excited to finally talk about some Uncharted 2 spoilers as he finished it this week. Phil made an odd purchase this week in Rock Revolution. His reasoning? He “felt sorry” for it, a pity purchase for $1.50. The recent release of Cobra Command sparks a discussion about iPhone buying habits, CJ (who has worked on iPhone games himself) feels a bit guilty about waiting for prices to lower.
The show closes-out with a short talk about edited virtual console games. Phil speculates, due to a hint by the developer, that the upcoming virtual console release of Blaster Master may be getting some new surprises edited into the game.
