Audacity decided to be uncooperative this week, so here is a raw, unedited version of the cast.
Things kick-off with appreciation for the latest 4 Guys 1UP with the inspired choice of Gary Whitta as the guest. In games, the Saboteur receives some mixed impressions, and then we move into a little commentary and speculation on the recent flurry of news surrounding the resurrected EGM. We touch on achievements and trophies, and some general discussion about EA and a possible Mirror’s Edge 2 is it for games.
The demise, and now sort-of revived, CrunchPad has Jon and I a little confused. The news of Apple acquiring cloud music service Lala finishes the tech talk, and Viggo Mortensen’s latest, The Road, gets a mention. Also, check out Ross and Jon’s work over at Bitmob.
Leave a comment, review us on iTunes, and generally spread the word. Thanks!

To those who are voting the podcast down, we would love to hear any comments you may have. You are allowed to share thoughts around here even if they are not necessarily positive– in fact, we encourage it.
Yea me too. I wish people had to post comments for negative votes. I wonder if people sometimes listen to the podcasts the vote down. Like the last ALWW some people disliked, but what were they expecting? It might not have been the greatest episode but there was some interesting stuff in there. I think people have a distaste for certain personalaties, like poor sweet Tina, and just vote the show down on principle.
I'd really like to know who votes the Bombcast down and why.
I did. Way too much achievement talk made me turn it off. I don't listen to this one (cast medium) so I don't vote on it
Yeah, I definitely think that happens. Sometimes Rebel FM, The Geekbox, and The Gamespy Debriefings are all posted within pretty short time in between, and I'll often see them all get a negative vote in one volley.
I won't really seriously debate on this issue, but I will go ahead and say that the Bethesda guys pretty much said that keeping the console open was a conscious decision and they fully accept all of the things players can do with it. Right or not, this isn't exploiting a bug or something like that, it's taking advantage of something that's basically a feature.
Nonetheless, I'm not careless enough with my money to buy Fallout 3 for the third time. Easy achievements or not, that game is still too expensive for that purpose alone. I have been considering buying Morrowind for the third time, though…
Yea, I guess. I won't hold it against you.
On a side note, getting all the points for Fallout 3 on the 360 was a blast. I've prolly put in over a hundred hours in that game. Its a shame the pc only people might skip them.
