Tryptophan talk opens up this week’s podcast, quickly (and gratefully) transitioning to some discussion of the Blu-Ray versions of Star Trek and Pixar’s UP. Mike commits a grave offense by considering a standard Blu-Ray player over a PS3, but Higgins seems to empathize.
Dragon Age: Origins seems to have captured Karen’s attention, despite the seemingly generic premise. Mike is clearly continuing to have fun with the game, after the great start he mentioned on the last episode of CastMedium’s podcast. Ryan Scott had to face his inevitable return to League of Legends, but doesn’t come out unscathed; apparently, unlocking all of characters is a completely overwhelming task.
Star Trek Online gets some follow-up conversation, with no clear improvement in the whole situation despite last week’s show. The show closes out with a podcast favorite, Smallville, which apparently has a Justice Society extended episode on the horizon.
Wherein we discuss Thanksgiving turkey coma, Blu-ray indecisiveness, Dragon Age, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, League of Legends’ insidious free-ness, Assassin’s Creed II, more Turtles Forever, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, coming to grips with new types of games, MMOs and innovation, the upcoming Smallville/Justice Society movie, The Omega Man, and Halloween costume contest winners. Starring Ryan Scott, Karen Chu, Mike Cruz, Andrew Fitch, and Ryan Higgins.
