With Moe back from his business trip, the drunkards are once again back at full strength. To start off the show, the Drunk Dials this week are especially sauce-filled this week leading the guys to wonder how many of their callers are now in detox. The mail bag is full of absolutely hilarious tales of Chuck E Cheese that DGR asked for a couple weeks back that just have to be heard to be believed.
The reviews segment starts off with Little Big Planet for the PSP, which by all accounts sounds very similar to the PS3 version. Next up is Assassin’s Creed II, which all the guys seem to be enjoying even though they didn’t play the first one. The random retro review this week is Kadash for the TurboGrafx-16, which John says is a great adventure/RPG from the past, but loathes the no continue option.
The feature presentation is an interview with GoatStore.com head honcho Dan Loosen about the upcoming Dreamcast indie release Irides, which he is publishing. Dan describes the game as a puzzler inspired by Lumines but with deeper strategic elements. Five Things closes out the show with discussion on Microsoft’s registration of a user guide patent, the PSPgo vs. DSi LL, and Left 4 Dead 2.
