Fantastic Mr. Fox is the 1st movie this week and the guys almost universally love it. They taut the fact that very few regular directors try their hand at stop-motion animation, and Wes Anderson benefits from that here. Precious also gets a lot of praise from the guys, and is put in the same space as Shindler’s List and Boys Don’t Cry.
In honor of Thanksgiving, the middle segment finds the guys making hand turkeys. It is a lighthearted, yet fun affair, with plenty of puns to go around.
Assassin’s Creed 2 takes up the game section with Alex kicking things off with some decidedly middling impressions. Dan and Jeff are enjoying the game quite a bit more and share their takes on why the game is great.
