Player One Podcast: Episode 161 – Showgirls
2:02 pm
November 23rd, 2009
Ford has finally played some of Modern Warfare 2 so he starts off what you been playing with his thoughts on the first few levels. He echoes Sewart’s thoughts from last week and reiterates that it doesn’t live up to Modern Warfare. New Super Mario Bros. Wii is up next, the guys are all pretty impressed with it, especially how well the game scales between single and multiplayer. There’s some brief debate about the motion control used in the game, and the verdict is mixed.
Phil picked up the God of War collection for PS3, and he and Greg Sewart agree the gameplay holds up well. Phil has also been playing Lego Indy 2 for review, they’ve made some substantial changes to the structure of the game this time round and for the better in Phil’s opinion.
CJ bought Phantasy Star Zero and is pleased that it takes its cues from Phantasy Star Online rather than the newest entries in the series. CJ closes out the show with some brief thoughts on Left 4 Dead 2 which he was enjoying until he had to stop playing because of motion sickness.
