The GameSpy Debriefings #103

GameSpy DebriefingsNew Super Mario Bros. Wii took center stage at the beginning of this week’s Gamespy Debriefings, with reviewer Ryan Scott showering heaps of praise on the game.  The discussion is pretty extended and probably one of the most comprehensive looks among this week’s podcasts, albeit the recurring conversation about the Mario canon timeline.

Anthony got a chance to play Left 4 Dead 2 and talks about why the changes in the AI director, new weapons, and new special infected make it much more than Left 4 Dead 1.5.  He also brings up the continuity in the campaigns, which is a little clearer than in the previous game.

Modern Warfare 2 closes out the podcast, with Ryan asking whether or not it will really be remembered rather than Call of Duty 4.

Once again Miggs, Altano, Ryan Scott, and Anthony can’t seem to keep the discussion on topic. Beyond the talk about Modern Warfare 2 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii, you’ll get an earful of Star Wars nerdism that’ll make you feel like the coolest kid in school. Enjoy!
