Microsoft has recently banned between 600,000 and 1 million Xbox Live accounts due to association with modded consoles. This is a huge number, and if accurate, points to the 360 piracy problem being a lot bigger than many imagined.
GameStop is readying their foray into the realm of digital distribution. You will be able to use trade-in credit to purchase downloadable games and content that will download next time you power-on your system. Jim nails it when he calls this nothing more than a stopgap solution for the inevitable obsolescence of physical stores.
Covered games and topics: football, NPDs, MW2, L4D2, God of War Collection, 360 bannings, manuals, GameStop going digital, PSP adhoc party, Demon’s Souls, emails
