This week’s episode of The Geekbox comes in a little late and fortunately makes up for it with Brock, the stripper-guardian/podcast roadie extraordinaire. Fitch reports in on his previous week of every-day-of-the-week dates, with plenty of the pseudo-modesty that you might come to expect from the “playa”.
Tropico 3 gets discussed yet again, with Karen coming away from it dissatisfied with the fact that you have to actually build up an economy before you can torture innocent citizens. Ryan Higgins has picked up Tales of Vesperia after a short break, which leads Ryan Scott to spoil major twists in JRPGs for no apparent reason… purists/backloggers beware.
Hope seems rare for the Green Lantern movie, with Ryan Scott bringing up the all-too predictable comment that Nathan Fillion should be the one playing Hal Jordan instead of Ryan Reynolds. Lost comes up, with a little bit of discussion about the media blackout and catching up on missed episodes. Television talk wraps up with Venture Brothers, Stargate SG-1 and Joss Whedon/Glee goodness.
Wherein we discuss bouncing for strippers, the Fitch Mega-Hitch, Karen’s take on Tropico 3, extreme RPG spoilers, Excitebike World Rally, Battle City, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, DSi penis envy, the Wizard of Oz, Night of the Creeps, our building excitement for Lost’s final season, Venture Bros. season 4 (which more people need to watch!), Glee, Stargate SG-1, and magazines failing to justify their own existence. Starring Ryan Scott, Karen Chu, Andrew Fitch, and Ryan Higgins.
