Tweets start this week’s cast with topics ranging from the Modern Warfare 2 private server issue to good entry FPSs for the uninitiated. Phil does a good job of dismissing the MW2 to issue and fields a questions about his current state of unemployment. CJ chimes-in to share another story in his ongoing battle with Best Buy.
Phil announces that he is going to pick up Tekken 6, much to everyone’s bafflement. Fighting games are a dying breed, and Tekken 6 is probably going to have an uphill battle upon release. Greg Sewart is still loving Need for Speed Shift, but Gran Turismo PSP is doing anything for him with its strange car availability system.
Rock Band for iPhone/iPod Touch was released last week, but it fails in a major way. While the features and song list seem adequate, the visuals lag behind the music, making it almost unplayable. Lips Number One Hits and DJ Hero impressions close out the show.
Covered games and topics: Tweets, Modern Warfare 2 private servers, Phil’s job hunt, imports, entry-FPS, game deals, Tekken 6, Gran Turismo PSP, 5 Minutes to Kill Yourself, Rock Band iPhone, Lips Number One Hits, DJ Hero
