Idle Thumbs 48: In Space
9:06 am
October 21st, 2009
Chris is still enjoying Demon’s Souls despite its rigid difficulty. He describes it as meaningful difficulty though, as it is not just cheap kills, but rewards actual skill. Chris has written another song, and after the tuneful interlude the guys move onto Uncharted 2. They point out that although it is simply constant action set-peices which are book-ended by scripted story moments, it is executed so well that it is hard not to enjoy it.
The bombshell comes at the end with the announcement that episode 50 will be the last episode since Nick Breckon has been hired as the new Community Manager at Bethesda Softworks. It’s too bad that the cast has to end, but there are still 2 episodes left. Congratulations to Nick on his new position.
Covered games and topics: Modern Warfare 2 PC dedicated servers issue, Demon’s Souls, Half Minute Hero, Space A**hole, Dragon Age, Uncharted 2, Nick Breckon going to Bethesda Softworks
