It’s the 3 year anniversary of the Player One Podcast and the guys are celebrating by… doing a normal show. They were hoping to have a new theme song, but they have extended their submission contest so you still have a chance to win 2 games if you can compose something worthy enough.
As usual, Tweets start the episode with the first question asking about what kind of cars the guys drive. They all have cars that have served some serious time, and there are some fun stories from the old EGM days. The group also discusses some of their favorite guests over the years. If you just started listening to the show recently, you probably didn’t even know they ever had guests though.
In the games section, the guys talk more about Uncharted 2. The stealth sequence at the beginning of the game rears its head again with CJ sharing his difficulties getting through the section. A Boy and His Blob gets a quick mention and the guys spend a surprising short amount of time talking about Brutal Legend.
Covered games and topics: Current cars, best guests, Game of the Year, games to re-experience, Uncharted 2, A Boy and his Blob, Brutal Legend
It’s been three years since we started this podcast and what better way to ring it in than to do exactly what we’ve been doing for most of those three years. Talk tweets, talk games, talk some behind the scenes. It’s over two hours of what has made us the second best video game podcast hosted by four ex-magazine editors over Skype. Games discussed include Uncharted 2, Brutal Legend, Ratchet & Clank Future Tools of Destruction, A Boy and His Blob, Giana Sisters DS and Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon.
Also, we’re (still) running a contest for a new theme song. Deadline for entries is now Friday, October 30. Details can be found here. Follow us on twitter at twitter.com/p1podcast.
