There area lot of games covered this week, starting the forthcoming Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. Anthony had a chance to get some hands on time with it and it’s sounds like it is going to be solid. The guys quickly touch on the co-op in Modern Warfare 2 and then get into a lengthy discussion about Borderlands. Arthur doesn’t have too many nice things to say about the game and he cites the unskippable cinematics as baffling since Gearbox is positioning this as a game that is good for multiple playthroughs.
Anthony is reviewing Saw, so he shares hi thoughts a says that he will probably give it a 2/5. The guys talk a bit about Uncharted 2 and then touch on Brutal Legend which Arthur is enjoying a lot. He praises the atmosphere and amazing use of music in the game.
This main discussion this week is centered around the next generation of consoles. The guys cover many different aspects including: release windows, potential backwards compatibility, pricing and much more. It’s easy to forget that the Xbox 360 is almost 4 years old at this point, so it really isn’t too soon to be thinking about new systems. Are you ready for the next generation or can the 360 and PS3 last for a few more years?
