Karen Chu is not on this week, but her husband Patrick Joynt is and he is a worthy stand-in. If it wouldn’t prove to be weird with Karen and Patrick on we would call for him to be a regular.
Patrick starts this one off with some PSPgo criticism and points to the Ars Technica review which pulls no punches as his go-to overview. Discussions about the Uncharted 2 review scores and Shadow Complex get blown-through before the group get into their forte of covering comics and tabletop games.
The talk turns to predictions on the best games of the holiday season, but outside of Patrick the group is a little lacking on knowledge about the upcoming releases so the topic quickly fizzles out. Fitch closes this one out with a quick story about his recent dating adventures and proves once again to be a little oblivious about what he should be focusing on in this kind of situation even though everyone is telling him where he is missing the mark.
Covered games and topics: Ars Technica PSPgo, Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Burnout Paradise, Shadow Complex issue, comics, Paranormal Activity, tabletop games, highest rated games of the holiday season, Fitch hitch
