CAGcast #174: Shoplifting Grapefruits

by Derek Lavigne in GamesOctober 7th, 2009 @ 8:44 pm

CAGcastCheapyD and Wombat are once again joined by Shipwreck this week after a flood of positive comments, although this is skewed thanks to a contest to give away Dissidia: Final Fantasy. To start out the show, the guys all berate the person who tried to sell a Sarah Palin signed Xbox360 on eBay for 1.1 million dollars. Before getting into what they have been playing, Shipwreck shares his intent to review Demon’s Souls, but wasn’t able to because it was too difficult.

In new releases, the trio discuss Afrika finally coming to the US, although Cheapy doesn’t feel like it is worth it as a full-priced game. With the release of a few basketball games this week, Shipwreck shares an anecdote about the huge locker that the collectors edition of NBA 2K10 comes with. There tends to be an agreement from all three that there is a whole lot of ‘meh’ games coming out this week.

After quickly touching on the PSPgo, they move on to other games they have been playing, which is largely dominated by Shipwreck and his review games. He runs through Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Ion Assault, and Dead Space: Extraction among others. Surprisingly there isn’t much in the CAGbag to round out the show.

Covered games and topics: Dissidia, Sarah Palin, Afrika, NBA lockers, PSPgo, Ninja Gaiden, huge cans 2, Ninja Gaiden

Cheapy, Wombat, and Shipwreck unite again to cross the boundaries of good taste, discuss a slew of games, industry and game shopping news, your questions and comments from the CAGbag and Twitter and oh so much more!
