It’s all about the PSP Go this week. Since the restructuring that has been going at IGN, Hilary moved up the corporate chain and is on the podcast this week. He has a surprising amount of good things to say about Sony’s latest handheld iteration, but he can’t save it from Levi’s wrath. Levi phones in with his impressions and they are negative overall.
The main complaints all center around prices. The guys feel like the system and games are overpriced. The PSP minis are cited here as mostly being iPhone ports with a little added content, but often coming in at 2 – 3 times the price. The inability to play previously purchased UMD based games also isn’t going over well. Many games that have been released on UMD are not available for download either. It’s sounds like there are a lot of issues here.
The cast finishes on the guys recounting there high school experiences.
Although Chris Roper is MIA today, Greg and Ryan are joined by the great and powerful Hilary and Levi to talk about the hottest news item around: the PSPgo! That’s right, Sony’s newest portable platform launches today and ushers in the first digital download-only system the company has manufactured within the PlayStation brand.
