With this final Tokyo Game Show podcast from 1UP, 1 thing has been made abundantly clear: 1UP gives you hard games coverage and IGN gives you flavor.
While the group here agrees that there wasn’t too much big news coming out of TGS this year, that is not going to stop them from talking about every singly game they saw. There are so many games covered here that it is almost impossible to point out anything specific. Look at the list below and if you want to hear about those games, listen to this.
Mark MacDonald does take a moment at the end to tease a future podcast that he will be involved with and points to a special Listen UP coming next week since there will be no regular episode.
Covered games and topics: Gran Turismo 5, PSP Go, Sony motion controller, Natal demos, Forza 3, twitter updates, Crackdown 2, Zero Day, Quantum Theory, Final Fantasy, MGS Peace Walker, Parasite Eve, Final Fantasy XIII & Versus XIII, Dead Rising 2, Yakuza 4, White Knight Chronicles, Avatar, PixelJunk Shooter
We’re back to wrap up TGS 2009. 8-4 again generously offered us their offices to record and JJ, Mark, and John join in for the show as well. Sam, Shane, and Garnett complete the group that sits down to get everything they’ve seen out on the table. And while we had the impression the show had been really down, when we put together the list there were plenty of games to talk about including Final Fantasy XIII, Yakuza 4, Gran Turismo 5, PixelJunk Shooter, Zero Day Attack on Earth, Quantum Theory, Dead Rising 2 multiplayer, and more.

Its so nice to have Mark on the show. I love how he cut Garnett short when he started rambling about another car game for the 100th time.
