It is almost a full crew this week with Fitch being only being not sitting in since he is out at the Tokyo Game Show. This episode starts out with some TV talk about how Lost’s Michael Emerson Emmy win for playing the character on the show. Apparently he comes off as just being Ben in real life which is somewhat disconcerting if you know the character. Mike has been getting deep into Dexter which our own Jon Cole is a big fan of.
X-men and Syfy talk lead into a discussion about Batman: Arkham Asylum. Spoilers start at the 36:00 mark so be aware. The Geekbox crew obviously didn’t listen to this week’s CastMedium Podcast where we discussed how much spoilers bother us.
Karen shares her beef with World of Warcraft’s seasonal achievements and novelty loot before the podcast turns into ‘The Candy Box.’ Closing out Ryan Scott talks about his love for Canabalt, which is a simple, free flash game that is definitely worth a look.
Covered games and topics: Ben wins Emmy, Dexter, X-men, Sy-Fy, Batman, WoW Seasonal achievements, candy, Canabalt
