Almost all of the regular crew is back this week with the exception of Mike Cruz and the addition of Olly Quinn. Talk of last week’s PAX GFW reuinion panel starts of the cast with Karen sharing that it was hard for her not to get a little misty as Jeff remarked that he would love to go back into games journalism, but only with the Brodeo guys. This leads into a discussion about how journalism is now the go-to way to gain entrance into game development as QA once was.
The crew then goes on to discuss the state of media in general and why the magazine format is no longer relevent. Ryan Scott also mentions that he would like to find a way to make a living off of podcasting– wouldn’t we all.
Star Wars comes up with the group trying to stump each other on random trivia and Karen, along with Ryan Scott, is getting into League of Legends.
