It’s a special episode of the Player One Podcast this week, not only because it is the big 150, but CJ took PAX as an opportunity to record a show with a lot of different guests. As you can guess, being a former EGMer, he brings on mostly current and former 1UPers, but there is lot of good stuff here.
First up are Patrick Klepek, David Ellis and Andrew Pfister talking about some of the games they saw at the show and touching on the 10 year anniversary of the Dreamcast. Next is a short talk with listener from the boards followed by the “Man God” Shane Bettenhausen sharing his new life on the publishing side of the industry. Jeremy Parish is that last guest talking about Assassin’s Creed II and the Dreamcast as well after a somewhat annoying listener voicemail.
This is one of the best PAX experience podcasts yet so even if you are not a regular listener of Player One, this is one to catch.
Covered games and topics: Brink, Split Second, Dreamcast and Sega, Halo ODST, Shank, Muramasa, Assassin’s Creed II
This week! Only one host and a bunch of guests. CJ goes to Penny Arcade Expo, brings his pocket recorder and records conversations with a couple people. That includes Patrick Klepek, David Ellis, Andrew Pfister, Jeremy Parish, Shane Bettenhausen and Kholdstare. Plus a bonus PAX-related voicemail from Bill Mudron, whose awesome EGM/1UP tribute piece and other artwork can be found at www.excelsiorstudios.net. Thanks again to everyone I ran into at PAX and/or played The Beatles Rock Band with. We will return to our regularly scheduled lineup and podcast next week.
