It’s a toned-down Geekbox this week with Karen out for her husbands birthday and Ryan Scott sick. Everyone is predictably playing Batman and enjoying it. Ryan talks about all the big PAX plans and he has included all the times and places for the proceeding in the post for this week’s episode.
Disney’s acquisition of Marvel sparks a lot of conversation, but not too many insights. There is some worry about what Disney will do with Marvel and the crew throws around the idea of Pixar doing animated Marvel movies. Ryan Higgins calls this the biggest thing to happen to the comic world in many years.
Ryan Scott saw Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and he shares his impressions. He goes into some detail in explaining the plot, but nothing too spoiler-y. Ryan Higgin’s then goes into way too much detail about various nose ailments he has had.
Covered topics and games: Batman, PAX, Disney buys Marvel, Inglourious Basterds, Ryan Higgin’s nose
Wherein we discuss red rings of death, ragequitting, Batman: Arkham Asylum (again!), being terrified of competitive gaming, Star Trek Online, stupid furries, the impending Penny Arcade Expo 2009, the big Disney-Marvel buyout, Inglourious Basterds, and some of our worst sick days.
