A new feature that covers wanted sequels starts out this week’s episode. The feature is somewhat interesting, but the real draw is the box art that Mike and co. whipped up for the picks. There are some classic, and some not so classic, series represented there, so check it out and see if they cover the games on your wish list.
Metroid: Prime Trilogy is out and Jade is talking about her love for the series and giving a few impressions of the new reworked Wii editions. With the release of Batman Arkham Asylum, the comic-loving crew took the opportunity to do a retro roundup of Batman games. Falling on the other side of the geek spectrum is Wrestling. Mike is a huge wrestling fan and touches on Summerslam, which he got to attend, and the new Smackdown vs. Raw 2010.
Wrapping up, Jade talks about her California State Fair excursion and Travis shares his experience of visiting the setting of the Twighlight books/movies, Forks, Washington. Apparently the town is really trying to capitalize on the potential tourist factor and has even put up official-looking signs that refer to vampires. It sounds like it was quite the surreal experience.
This week the gang talk about a couple of the features on 1UP, chat a little about Metroid: Prime Trilogy, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and Smackdown vs. Raw 2010. Then things open up with talk about Forks, WA (the town from the Twilight books), hoarding and addiction, the CA State Faire, and WWE Summerslam.
