Welcome to the Rebel FM Debriefing. This episode might as well be Rebel FM with guest Ryan Scott. This is especially true near the end with Anthony sharing his QuakeCon experience.
Ryan does start out this one with some Batman: Arkham Asylum impressions and he is enjoying it like everyone else. Shadow Complex gets some more positive impressions here as well. Moving onto the new Kojima produced Castlevania the guys point out the reverence Japanese developers get in relation to their western counterparts.
After some brief words on the new PS3 Slim and the disproportionate price of the PSP Go, Anthony goes in depth on the Pheonix Wright series and QuakeCon, which took place last week. There are some crazy things that happen at QuakeCon and Anthony goes into detail about some things that we may have been better off not knowing.
Coevered games and topics: Batman, Shadow Complex, new Castlevania, PS3 Slim, PSP Go, Pheonix Wright, QuakeCon horribleness
Will’s out this week, so Ryan and Anthony bring on a pair of special guests from the Rebel FM podcast: Tyler Barber and Arthur Gies. With Rebel FM along for the ride, the group discusses QuakeCon 2009, Batman: Arkham Asylum, the upcoming BlizzCon, and a host of random stuff that you probably wouldn’t expect on a gaming site’s podcast. But hey, off-topic talk is often pretty funny, so here’s to hoping y’all enjoy it.
