WIZARD! This episode starts with some praise for Xbox 360′s new Games on Demand service. It seems like people are increasingly reluctant to pick up physical copies of games. It’s obvious that at least, if a game is just a button press away that people are more likely to try something that they are only somewhat interested in.
After the classic “Horse Bag” discussion last week, the guys are talking about more peripherals that are designed to read input directly from your body. This includes a patent coming out of Sony that refers to a emotion-reading controller input. This leads down a potentially dark road.
Chris has gone back to Mass Effect and is enjoying the experience and appreciating the dynamic nature of the story progression. The Beatles: Rock Band release is quickly approaching and the genius behind timing it with the remastered Beatles collection is not lost on the guys. Wrapping up this week is a discussion about a new console MMO coming out of the studio behind EVE Online, Dust 514. League of Legends also gets some coverage and it sounds like a nice, streamlined approach to DotA-style gameplay.
The guys have also opened up a voicemail line, which proves that they have some rather insane listeners.
Following a double-barreled podblast assault, this week’s baffling episode sees the Idle Thumbs valiantly but vainly struggle to stay on topic and discuss a new video game, despite dubious double entendres and threatening voice mails. How’s our driving? Take a wild guess.

To the best of my knowledge they have 3 main hosts who are in the States. They seem to have 2 guys from the U.K. as well, but to be honest, I am fairly new to the podcast and I have yet to hear them on the show.
