This is the biggest Totally Rad Show in a long while. District 9 is the first movie up this week and the guys absolutely loved it. Dan goes on to say that he thinks that it will find a place among the original Star Wars and Matrix movies in cultural importance. Inglourious Basterds, almost impossibly, has the guys equally, if not more excited. Jeff says that this is possibly better than Pulp Fiction and is one of the best movies of all time. Dan and Alex share the sentiment and point out that Tarantino has really perfected his craft with this film.
After a quick actual Magic: The Gathering match the guys talk about the Xbox Live iteration which they found to be a good adaptation. Muramasa: The Demon Blade is the big game of the week and the consensus is that it is an amazingly beautiful game. The game seems to be fun as well, but with their limited time with it, they don’t go into much detail. Alex praises the game in particular for its straight-forward approach to controls.
