It must be a somewhat slow time for releases with so many going back to back-catalog titles. Justin has returned to Fallout 3 and is finding it a lot more enjoyable than he remembered. Trials HD and Shadow Complex get their requisite coverage and ‘Splosion Man is still hanging on. The guys also touch on the Xbox Avatar Marketplace and are coming around a bit to the idea of purchasing virtual accessories.
The guys give a call to Joystiq Playstation blogger Andrew Yoon to talk about his recent hands-on time with the Beatles: Rock Band story mode. It sounds like there is going to be a lot of exclusive stuff in this package for Beatles fans. Andrew shares that there will be a lot of unlockable photos and images that have never been publicly available before. This release looks to be huge for Beatles fans.
After handling a few drunk call-ins the guys hear from A Life Well Wasted‘s Robert Ashley. He shares that episode 4 is just wrapping up and there will be a new site for the podcast launching soon.
Covered games and topics: Real Heroes: Firefighter, Fallout 3, Trials HD, Shadow Complex, ‘Splosion Man, Avatar Marketplace, Guitar Hero 5, GRIN, Beatle: Rock Band, Batman Arkham Asylum, voicemails, call from Robert Ashley on ALWW
We’re back with another podcast, and a surprisingly full one for the middle of summer. We’ve got impressions of The Beatles: Rock Band, Trials HD and as much Shadow Complex as we can talk about and Justin does a really bad job of explaining Spider. Then, towards the end, a brief visit from a special guest.
Oh, and a fairly drunk voice mail or two. Naturally. And, of course, thanks to the amazing Alan Black for the upsetting photoshop.
