The Totally Rad Show | Episode 125 – Gaping Hole

by Jonathan Downin in Games, Misc, MoviesAugust 11th, 2009 @ 12:38 am

The Totally Rad ShowG.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is the movie this week and the opinions are surprising– in so much as the guys didn’t completely hate it.  Alex found it to be fun, Dan didn’t really enjoy it too much and Jeff is surprisingly on the most positive end here.  Who would have guessed that G.I. Joe would trump Tranformers?

The games market is traditionally fairly slow in the summer, but the guys had a chance to give a new super hero MMO, Champions Online, a spin and the results are mixed to bad.  Although the conversation is generally positive, none of the guys seem to feel like this is something that they would stick with, and that is all that matters for an MMO.  There is plenty more love for ‘Splosion Man here, especially from Dan.

We get a new type of segment this week that is based on a list that Dan found on Cracked.com.  It is centered around classic movies and their plot holes.  This proves to be a fun segment and could lend itself well to a lot more entertaining and diverse topics in the future.

Gaping Hole – G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Champions Online, Lovely Bones, ‘Splosion Man, and classic movies with huge plot holes
