First up this week is a welcome to Mike Cruz as the new regular “special guest” of the podcast and an introduction to Ryan Higgin’s friends who have a band called “God of Shamisen.”  They are a rock group with a member who plays the traditional Japanese instrument, the shamisen, as the core of the group.

MMOs get a whole lot of discussion time with Ryan Higgins talking about the new World of Warcraft patch that came out yesterday.  They then move onto the Matrix Online, which nobody played, and Karen shares some of her experiences with the Hello Kitty MMO.  Karen is always a good source of crazy stories and she shares one about almost breaking up with her boyfriend, now husband, over a bad Animal Crossing save transfer.  Incredible.

It wouldn’t be The Geekbox without some TV talk, so the requisite Burn Notice get some time before moving onto the news that the original voice cast of Futurama will be coming back.  Is it too much to hope for a “Fitch Hitch” update next week?
