Yahoo has relented and has given up on the search market. All searches from Yahoo will now be served by Microsoft’s Bing. This solidifies Bing as the #2 search engine in the world, with no real 2nd place player in the market. Jason equates this to Yahoo committing seppuku.
Apple is starting to garner a lot of ill-will from the tech press with their recent draconian business methods. Jason, in particular, is pretty upset and thinks Apple is one of the least consumer-oriented companies out there. This ties in nicely with the discussion about Palm and iTunes.
