Brad was out of the office in his hometown in North Carolina over his birthday last week and he has plenty of food related stories to share. If you haven’t lived in the South before, it sounds like a whole different world.
Jeff and Vinny got a chance to check out Borderlands and they are sharing their very positive experience here. The game has come a long way from many making fun of the millions guns the game has to people clamoring for it. The decision to change the art style seems to have done wonders for the perception of the game.
There is one of the biggest Halo discussions in Bombcast history here with the guys touching on the recent Halo-related announcements and the way Microsoft is handling the franchise on the whole.
Near the end, talk of PAX comes up and as it turns out, none other than Rich Gallup will be hanging out with the group while they are there. For those of you that haven’t been following the Giant Bomb guys before Giant Bomb came about, Rich Gallup is the former host of The HotSpot at Gamespot where all 4 of the guys used to work. Surely we will get the pleasure of hearing Rich on a Bombcast around that time.
