In the latest iTunes update Apple blocked the Pre’s ability to sync natively, but Palm has issued an update to their Pre software that re-enables the functionality. The war is on. This should get interesting very quickly.
This week Pete Cashmore, of Mashable.com, is on and the guys are talking about how MySpace is doomed. This doesn’t seem too timely as MySpace has been fading for a while now. The site is inundated with old code and doesn’t serve any audience too well. One good point here is that they should focus on the music aspect of the site and really make it a good music finding social network.
Microsoft continues to plan a launch of a nation-wide retail chain. This smacks of an Apple copycat move in so many ways and slides have leaked that show plans for a “Guru Bar.” Really, is that the most creativity that can come out of Microsoft? They can’t even use a different word than “bar?” This is not going to go well.
