Brad from GiantBomb is on this week talking about Trine with Matt. They each played the game on different platforms so we get a nice comparison between the 2 versions. It sounds like some may like controller over WASD controls, but they both stack up well. The PSN price of $20 makes Steam’s $30 price point seem inflated even the the game seems worth $30 if that was the only price point.
Twisted Pixel had moderate success with The Maw, but it seems what that game really accomplished was putting their name on the map since ‘Splosion Man is getting much more mainstream coverage. Of course being a fun game does a lot for the title as well. You can’t go wrong with triple jumps made of “‘splosion.”
As usual, there is an iPhone game on this week. Critter Crunch looks to be a great take on the puzzle genre. If you don’t have an iPhone/iPod Touch you may still get a chance to give this one a shot with a PSN version coming soon.
