Yes, that’s me. Mike asked me to join in on the podcast this week and I was more than happy to oblige. I talk a bit about CastMedium and also touch on the podcast space in general.
After my ramblings, the group moves on to more pressing issues such as the zombie/nazi epic, Dead Snow. If only the characters involved knew the zombies wanted gold from the beginning.
Mike had a bad run-in with Taco Bell on Sunday and he is happy to share the sequence of events here.
This was my first guest appearance, so be sure to let me know what you think in the comments.
Again, thanks to Mike, Jade, Travis and Matt for being so accommodating, it was a great time.
Jonathan Downin from castmedium.com sits in this week to talk about his site and the state of podcasting media. A Zombie News Update preempts the Cocktail Napkin as Travis gives his impressions of Dead Snow. In Final Notes: Taco Bell regrets, Catch It Keep It, and 1UP’s Comic-Con MeetUP.

I enjoyed the podcast as always and just wanted to say that I like what you’re doing here on the site and I’m glad you got a chance for “pimpage” on at1UP. I must say that I was saddened to hear about the mediocrity of Dead Snow…I was hopeful that the film might be a nice, campy/funny zombie flick, but apparently that’s not the case.
Good luck with the site!
Yeah, Dead Snow sounds like none of those good things.
Thanks for the support!
Grats on making it onto the podcast! This is an awesome website =)
Thanks Nam. It was flattering that they wanted me on and it was a lot of fun to hang out with the at1UP crew. Covering podcasts is one thing, being on one is another. I’m just glad I made any sense at all.
Just wanted to echo what the others said. This site has been a great resource for finding new stuff. Although the lack of coverage of the Idle thumbs podcast is perplexing
Keep up the good work!
