It’s another Mobcast and that means a lot of EGM reminiscing. If you are a fan of a lot of the old EGM peoples’ podcasts it is likely that you have heard some of these stories before. It is still definitely worth a listen even if you have heard these before though.
Bitmob is built to be a site that is centered around their community and having someone from their community on this episode shows their commitment to that. It’s nice to see this sort of thing happening. It would inevitably be hit or miss, but they should have a community member on each show.
The topic of what you would change about any game/series is a fun one. They don’t spend much time on it, but Shoe’s idea of changing Super Mario Brothers to “Super Chang Brothers” is golden.
This week’s Mobcast comes with a hefty dose of EGM. Former EGM staffers Crispin Boyer and Mike Cruz join Dan “Shoe” Hsu and Demian Linn as they compare gaming notes with Bitmob community podcaster Derek Lavigne (Pixel Revolt). Topics this week include favorite and worst EGM moments and reviews, favorite multiplayer gaming memories, and deciding which game to zap back to your 10-year-old self. Intrigued? Give it a listen.
