A Twitter rant takes up the first 10 minutes of the podcast. Needless to say, the guys find the whole phenomena somewhat ridiculous.
There is a bit of talk about Mass Effect 2 and how it will utilize saves from the first game. This leads into a discussion about how nice it would be to have your saves stored on Xbox Live so that you could never lose them and they would always be available to you.
The real draw here is some impressions done by Jason Ocampo. You can’t help feeling a little bad for the guy.
Covered topics and games: Halo ODST, Halo Reach, Mass Effect 2, server-side saves, avatar issues, Jason Ocampo doing impressions
Jason Ocampo calls in with more amazing impressions. Join Hilary Goldstein, Erik Brudvig and Charles Onyett as they listen in awe to an exact audio replica of Emperor Palpatine. Oh, we also talk a little bit about games like Halo 3: ODST and Milo in between rants about Twitter and Facebook killing society as we know it.

Will I jinx it if I say, it’s kind of nice that TRL has had some consistency as of late? I hope not. I’m not a huge fan of IGN, but I do indeed dig this podcast. I wish they would do some more “Game Sages” podcasts, those were nice too.
Yeah, but as the guys said, no podcast next week. At least they let us know.
Didn’t notice that, sorry. I was busy rebuilding a RAID array on one box and installing Red Hat on my server while listening.
